Bangle sizes like 2.4 and 2.6 aren't decimals: they're inches plus sixteenths of an inch across the inside. Here's what each one measures, and how to find yours.
A hand compresses a little as a bangle slides on, so the size shown is the first one that is at least as large as your measurement. Between sizes, the smaller one may fit if your hands are slender and soft; the larger is the safe choice.

Bangle vs bracelet sizing
Clasped bracelets are sized from the wrist; rigid bangles from the hand, because they have to pass over the knuckles. Hinged and screw bangles open, so they can be sized closer to the wrist: pick one whose inside diameter is a few millimetres larger than your wrist width. Sizes are based on the 2 + n/16 inch convention used by Indian jewelers; figures cross-checked against a major Indian retailer's published sizes (2.4 ≈ 57 mm, 2.6 ≈ 60 mm, 2.8 ≈ 63 mm).

What does bangle size 2.4 mean?
Indian bangle sizes read as inches and sixteenths of an inch of inside diameter. 2.4 means 2 and 4/16 inches, which is 2.25 in or about 57.2 mm. 2.6 is 2 6/16 in (about 60.3 mm) and 2.8 is 2½ in (63.5 mm).
Which bangle size is most common?

How do I measure my hand for a bangle?
Bring your thumb and little finger together as if putting on a bangle, then measure around the widest part of the hand, across the knuckles. Or measure the inside diameter of a bangle that fits you.
Is 2.10 bigger than 2.8?
Yes. The digits after the point are sixteenths, not decimals: 2.10 means 2 10/16 in (about 66.7 mm), larger than 2.8 (2 8/16 in).
